For homework tonight we were supposed to write a paragraph on a paper we read. So, Oil is the most important item traded between countries. Everybody want it but countries who live on it control prices for what is needed at that time. I asked my self before I kept reading the paper if 2.6 trillion barrels of oil still left on the ground is a lot. I said yes so I kept reading and it said no because theirs so much more oil in the world that the oil their is nothing compared to the overall amount. 2 out of 3 people in my family new what OPEC stands for. What is it my dad said as I responded(from the paper) OPEC is Organization of Petroleum ExportingCountries. That means a group of different people from each country (with good amount of oil) come together to discuss prices of oil. Did you know that you use oil at leas 1 time in a day?Most people saddly don’t think their using it. But the amount we have is dropping because we keep asking for more from heating your house to driving your car. I was thinking to my self about how we can change it and what we can do to help not using it while their trying to find ways. I am sure there are some ways out there but VERY expensive!!!!!!!

Today in class we had a sub MRS.S . We read a play on the new movie coming out this weekend called Eragon. This play had 13 parts and everybody got one. It was fun because everybody spoke in different voices. We had to ask a few quetions on the story like the sequences and the main ideas. I really enjoyed readind this play. Last, I would recomend this movie if you like to fight.

A very talented guy with legos was found building a town of legos. He used over 120,000 lego blocks and maid his masterpiece of what New Orleans should look like. This human prodege makes alot of creations from candycanes to humans to pencils all made of legos.

In math Today we learnd many things in algebra such as variables(a letter or symbol representing a number), also to isolate the variable is to put the number to the side. We also learned how to solve problems such as :

#1 152 + y=380

set up:380 -152= answer so…Y=228

#2 n /4 =12

set up :4*12= answer so…n=48

Know all of our 6 grade nows how to set up one step algebra problems and how to solve them.

If I were to go to any place in the world for free I would go to Springfield, Massachusetts because the basketball hall of fame is there. I really like baskeball. My mom said sometime we will go there. Also the basketball hall of fames birth was in Springfield, Massachusetts. The reson they made this hall of fame is for resources for people to learn about basketballs history.
