In math class we had a test on multiplying fractions and I did pretty good on it. This is how you do it.

1 4/5 multiplied by 8/9.

2 4 times 8 equals 32

3 5 times 9 equals 45

answer 35/45

You also can reduce it by dividing the denominator(top) by the numerator(bottom)

1 35 / 5 equals 7

2 45 /5 equals 9

FINAL answer 7/9
