The Ottoman empire was ruled by people very good. It was a good system and

lasted from 1300 to 1922 more than 6 centuries. People loved it!!!!!!!!! Slavery was little practiced it was not approved of having them!!!!!!!! You could think of Devshirmeh as a type of slavery wich was them getting little boys and using for their wars.The Ottoman Empire was ruling in Turkey and it was the

longest one to rule. Also, people conquerd Constantine in the 1400s. Now thats why

they call it Istanbul there capital or Constantinople. Then it ruled Southeastern Europe, North Africa, and Southwest

Asia which was a powerful country at that time. Finally World War 1 broke it up saddly. Altough they won the Battle of Plocnik. These people that lived in Turkey at that time weren’t Ploytheists they were mostly Christian or Jews Your Friend,
