Oil in the World
For homework tonight we were supposed to write a paragraph on a paper we read. So, Oil is the most important item traded between countries. Everybody want it but countries who live on it control prices for what is needed at that time. I asked my self before I kept reading the paper if 2.6 trillion barrels of oil still left on the ground is a lot. I said yes so I kept reading and it said no because theirs so much more oil in the world that the oil their is nothing compared to the overall amount. 2 out of 3 people in my family new what OPEC stands for. What is it my dad said as I responded(from the paper) OPEC is Organization of Petroleum ExportingCountries. That means a group of different people from each country (with good amount of oil) come together to discuss prices of oil. Did you know that you use oil at leas 1 time in a day? Most people saddly don’t think their using it. But the amount we have is dropping because we keep asking for more from heating your house to driving your car. I was thinking to my self about how we can change it and what we can do to help not using it while their trying to find ways. I am sure there are some ways out there but VERY expensive!!!!!!!
Ottoman Empire
Dear Clay Aiken,
The Ottoman empire was ruled by people very good. It was a good system and
lasted from 1300 to 1922 more than 6 centuries. People loved it!!!!!!!!! Slavery was little practiced it was not approved of having them!!!!!!!! You could think of Devshirmeh as a type of slavery wich was them getting little boys and using for their wars. The Ottoman Empire was ruling in Turkey and it was the
longest one to rule. Also, people conquerd Constantine in the 1400s. Now thats why
they call it Istanbul there capital or Constantinople. Then it ruled Southeastern Europe, North Africa, and Southwest
Asia which was a powerful country at that time. Finally World War 1 broke it up saddly. Altough they won the Battle of Plocnik. These people that lived in Turkey at that time weren’t Ploytheists they were mostly Christian or Jews
